Grow your Own ScholarshipThe MSDR9 Grow Your Own Scholarship for Future Educators is available for Mehlville School District alumni pursuing teaching as a future career path. 

Mehlville High School and Oakville High School alumni who graduated in the classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, currently enrolled in teacher preparation programs are eligible to apply for one of eight $1,000 scholarships. To apply, please submit:

- The completed scholarship application
- Two letters of recommendation from non-family members
- Proof of enrollment in a college/university teacher preparation program

Applications are now open and close on Friday, March 1, 2024. Please email completed applications to [email protected] or mail to:

Completed applications will be reviewed by Mehlville School District’s Recruitment, Retention and Onboarding Committee. Winners will be notified on Friday, March 15, 2024, and scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to awardees.
